Ethics of Home Visit In Field Work Training

In your social work training, you will do home visit for data collection and spreading awareness about the NGO’s program. Home visit is a good way to start relationships with your clients. By doing home visit, you can easily build rapport in any community.

If you are going for home visit, follow some ethics like

·         Remove your sandals/shoes outside.

·         Introduce yourself.

·         Take permission of starting the interview.

·         Ask slowly and clearly so that the client can understand easily.

·         Ask one question at one time. Do not ask many questions in one shot. Give time to your client.
